- 1 banana
- 1 ½ ounce lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of pure cane sugar
- 1 ½-3 ounces of light rum (depending on how hard you want to party and how strong you want it to taste 😉 )
- ½ ounce triple sec
- 1 cup crushed ice
You take (1) whole banana, (1) cup of crushed ice, (1.5) ounces of lime juice, (1.5-3) oz of a light rum of your choice, (.5) ounces of triple sec and (1) teaspoon of sugar. You put all of those ingredients together in a blender until they are fully blended. An optional garnish is a cherry or a sugar dusted rim if you want to make it fancy.
2. Classic Banana Rum Punch
Everyone loves a rum punch, those are always a classic go to at a party or kickback. But, if you are a lover of bananas like we are and want to put a yummy twist on this classic, then you should try making the classic Banana Rum Punch! This is perfect for that housewarming party you may be having, or for even a frat party!
Here is how you make it (below is 1 serving) multiply by how many servings you want to have for your party:
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup of banana flavored rum
- ½ ounce of crème de banana
- 2/3 cup of orange juice
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of grenadine syrup
Get a punch bowl and pour all of the ingredients in. Serve with a ladel and voila you have made your banana rum punch.
3. Spiced Bananas and Cream Cocktail

Ingredients:
- 2 bananas, moderately ripe. (peeled and sliced up into 1 inch pieces)
- 1 cup of spiced rum
- ¼ cup of crème de banana (or alternativel ¼ cup of crème de coconut)
- 2 cups of vanilla bean ice cream
- Pinch of cinnamon to garnish
You take the (2) bananas and peel them. Then you slice them up into pieces that are even and about 1 inch each. You put the slices into the blender. Then you pour the (1) cup of spiced rum, the ¼ cup of crème de banana (or crème de coconut for a more tropical flavor) into the blender. Lastly you scoop out 2 cups of vanilla bean ice cream and you put those into the blender. You blend it all together until the cocktail is consistently smooth (it still tastes great less blended if you prefer but we prefer ours to be more creamy). Serve in a nice chilled glass and you can sprinkle some cinnamon on top as a garnish.
